Getting Started
Once you have unpacked your child's iPad you will need to turn it on and follow the onscreen prompts to set up the iPad.
To get started with your iPad see support.apple.com/en-us/HT202033.
For further assistance you can call Apple Support on 1300 760 237 and use PIN 2961
Apple ID
You will need to create an Apple ID for yourself, if you don't already have one, in order to download apps from the App Store. Prior to installing apps on the iPad, you can create an Apple Account for your child. This will allow you to set age-based parental controls and keep your information separate from your child's. Visit Apple Support website for more information.
Apps
Please note: In order to access the teaching and learning programs, it is important that all requested apps are installed on your child's iPad, including those which require payment.
We have aimed to keep the cost of apps to a minimum by selecting mainly free apps and choosing low-cost alternatives where we can.
Once you have created an AppleID and set-up the iPad, use the Camera on the iPad to scan each QR Code and complete installing the software. Alternatively, if you visit this website the QR Codes can be tapped on the iPad screen to access the App Store.
Apps requiring payment have a red QR Code.
All parents of students attending Department of Education schools can contact Apple Support on 1300 760 237 and use PIN 2961 when prompted.
Use the QR Codes below to install apps. If viewing on your child's iPad QR CODES ARE CLICKABLE
