Managing Screentime
Screentime
Parents are often concerned that their children spend too much time looking at screens.
The current Department of Health Guidelines recommend that primary school aged children spend at least 60 minutes per day engaged in vigorous physical activity, have 9 to 11 hours of sleep and that recreational screen time be limited to 2 hours per day. It is important to note that educational screen time is considered valuable and separate from other screentime.
